The Cycle 4 Sam peloton has returned to Adelaide after an epic 1030km, 7-day cycle throughout South Australia.
The cyclists, including Sam’s parents Marty and Michelle, completed the ride yesterday on the lawns of the Women’s and Children’s Hospital where a large crowd had gathered to welcome them home.
A cheque for $60,000 was presented to Sara Fleming, Nurse Practitioner of the Paediatric Palliative Care Service to be used to continue the funding of an Art Therapist, and to assist in the purchase of a Beach house respite facility for families in South Australia who have children with rare terminal illnesses.
The Directors of Cycle 4 Sam, Marty and Michelle Roberts would like to thank all the cyclists, support crew, corporate sponsors, and individual donors who have helped make Cycle 4 Sam IV the huge success that it was.
